Outdoor First Aid (OFA). :: Expedition First Aid.

Advanced / Expedition Wilderness First Aid (8 Hours), builds on the skills acquired during completion of the Level 2 Award in Outdoor first aid.

Course includes scenario work including:

This course also covers in more detail spinal injury, covering spinal management (boards and collars if required).

There is also an opportunity to cover anything specifically requested by the client.

This course makes you good at basics, not basic at medicine, this is still first aid.

Environment specific conditions can be covered by request.

We can also put you in touch with expedition doctors if you are needing to discuss / obtain prescription drugs to complete expedition first aid kits.

Courses are eligible for funding in Scotland by ILA (individual learning accounts) and ReAct, vocational training scheme in Wales.
