Wilderness First Aid :: Outdoor First Aid- Emergency Incident Management

Suitable for those needing a wider range of training and who wish to complete a series of practical exercises in an individual and team setting.

Course exceeds recommendations for existing "Appointed Persons" status. Also exceeds 2009 Emergency FIrst Aid at Work qualification.

Includes immediate actions, protection against environment, longer term observations, and an introduction to specialist sections on head injury, helmet removal if required, and spinal management.

  • This unit duration is a minimum of 8 contact
    hours
    and run over a minium one day period, or equivalent timings such as evening sessions.

    Meets requirements of many National Governing Body Awards including ML Awards, MIA, MIC, EML, WGL, BELA,and governing bodies such as BCU, RYA, NCA, SCU, BASI, ESC, BOF Also suitable for Scout and Guide Leaders,Boys Brigade, Duke of Edinburgh Award leaders, trainers, supervisors, assessors, charitable treks and challenges and gap year expeditions, school party leaders.
