The Care Sector :: Paediatric 6 Hour course
The Paediatric 6 hour course is a programme in emergency care procedures for the infant, child and adult. Reactive first aid skills are delivered in a shortened version of the full 12 hour paediatric programme. The course syllabus includes all Primary Care skills:
- First Aid guidelines
- Vital signs
- Incident Management
- Treating Collapse (Infant, Child, Adult)
- CPR (Infant, Child, Adult)
- Choking Management (Infant, Child, Adult)
- Control of Bleeding and shock
Time for client specific requirements
This course also meets recommendations of the Health and Safety Executive for Appointed Persons in the Workplace.
