Rubicon First Aid Ltd specialises in the provision of environment specific first aid training, particularly wilderness / outdoor first aid for those living, working and travelling in outdoor / remote / rural areas.

Our Head Office located within the glorious scenery of Easter Ross, close to the Cromarty Firth, Scotland, gives us easy access to the great outdoors.

Our Scottish Training Address is located in the mural town and port of Invergordon, in Easter Ross, and our English Office is set within the delightful Cotswolds just south of Stroud, in rural Gloucestershire.

Rubicon First Aid Limited, established in 1996 on the Black Isle, north east of Inverness, runs training courses throughout the UK and Channel Islands. We have even been know to travel overseas once in a while!!!

We offer the following environment specific first aid courses:

• Sport & Outdoor.
• Road-users, Motorcyclists, & Cyclists.
• Care of the Elderly, & Paediatric.
• Equestrian.
• Holistic Therapists.

Also available accredited First Aid Training meeting current HSE regulations for First Aid at Work.

Please note: These courses are currently 24 contact hours, but change to 18 contact hours from October 2009.

We will also be running the new Emergency First Aider at Work course (6 contact hours) from Oct 2009.

Rubicon First Aid Ltd, can also deliver Appointed Persons first aid training for small businesses, and sole traders working in a low risk / low hazard environment.

Please note: Contrary to popular belief Appointed Person training is not compulsory it is ?BY CHOICE!?

One of our specialisms, is providing first aid courses for Holistic Therapists and Practitioners, meeting the specific concerns/circumstances of people working in this sector. We have first aid trainers, who are also Holistic Therapists. Giving Rubicon First Aid Ltd, an unique understanding of this growing sector of work.

All of our courses are run through ITC, (a QCA , and from summer 2009, SQA) accredited Awarding Body.

We use their materials and course outlines. We are externally verified on a regular basis by ITC and are part of a UK wide network of providers of ITC courses, so if we cannot help you we probably know someone who can.

If we break a leg, we have about 150 other trainers we can call on to deliver the same courses.
