Globebusters Train with Rubicon First Aid.

On a bright but chilly Friday in early October 2008, Globebusters, (Motorcyclist Expedition Specialists) assembled at the Manor Hotel, Crickhowel, Powys, to undergo an intensive days first aid training.

The course was the well established, ITC awarded Level 1 Emergency Action for Motorcyclists with elements of the Level 2 award aimed at overseas adventure tourers.

The course was organised by world record holders Kevin and Julia Sanders, with Kevin attending the course. All 13 participants were assessed on a variety of first aid circumstances which were thoroughly rehearsed and included scene safety, management of unresponsive casualties, in-line alignment, helmet removal and demonstration of the Hats-Off helmet removal system.

We have subsequently advised and supplied first aid and medical equipment for the latest Globebusters expedition support vehicle, during their 2009 TransAmerica Expedition.
