ITC recognised by QCA,

With our awarding body ITC now recognised by the QCA, the new Outdoor First Aid course is listed by the NQF (National Qualifications Framework) as Level 1 (unit 1) and level 2 (unit2) Awards. This course will be of interest to Colleges running sport and outdoor qualifications, and public services courses. We are seeking tutors in colleges who would like to deliver this challenging and interactive course. LSC funding maybe available for the full level 2 qualification, if delivery is made by ITC Centres or providers. So more than a traditional 3 year first aid certificate is one of the bonuses from this course, plus the new comprehensive outdoor safety manual which goes with the course.

These units will be found listed at www.dfes.gov.uk/section 96.

ITC accreditation number on the NQF is 500/1510/2 and a search can be made using this number also on the NQF.
