Motorcyclist First Aid course to have National Launch.

On the 08 January, we ran our pilot course for motorcyclists first aid, which was attended by the local ROSPA affiliated motorcycle observers group.

The course was a resounding success. Voted by those attending as a first aid course by bikers for bikers.

Nigel Murray the County Road Safety Advisor for motorcyclists, and 2 members of Severn Advanced Motorcyclists, attended the course, and a press release was issued from the County Road Safety Unit.

As result of the positive feed back received, a second course to tweak some of the course content will run on 06 March, at the Viney Hill outdoor centre, near Lydney just off the A48.

The course will also be showcased at the launch of the National Bike Safe campaign at Cheltenham race course on 02 / 03 April, and will include both demonstrations, and an opportunity to purchase the bikers first aid kit and first aid manual.

All monies raised will support the course development.
