Well in a busy 12 months what else have we done besides deliver training as a business and sell products? So far we have donated spaces on biker first aid courses and kits to Severn Advanced Motrocyclists to auction and raffle, raising money towards the Acorns Childrens Hospice in Worcester,
donated prizes at the National Bike Safe shows in 2005 and 2006, donated a variety of items last summer to the Gloucestershire Bike Nite meets, where a raffle was held every night and the money donated to the Air Ambulance. This lead onto the Bike Nite organisers setting up a biker first aid course, and 6 gallant souls turned up, part of their course fees being donated to the air ambulance.
Next we designed and supplied 28 kits for Nick Sanders Lisbon to Timbuktu event in January, then having been to the Ginette Harrison Memorial lecture in Bristol, given by Britains top mountaineer Alan Hinkes, we donated £100 to the SHIVA Charity. They were trying to raise £5000 towards refurbishing and extending a school in Nepal, which seemed a very worthwhile and achievable target. What is next?
Well that might depend on whoever is reading this, any ideas or worthy causes?
