Worcester and Herefordshire IAM Motorcyclists train on biker first aid

Saturday 22 May saw members of WHAM as they are known train on the ITC Emeregency First Aid for Bikers course, which concentrates on what to do during the first 10 to 15 minutes of an RTC. Particular emphasis is placed on when it would be reasonable to move someone, and in the case of a biker, when and how to remove a safety helmet. One of the requests was a schedule for self directed practice for the group and also the possibility of some sort of refresher (not a whole day) for the 18 month point of certficate life span. So, somethings for us to consider.
