First Aid For the Home, holiday and public

OPTION ONE: 4 hour non assessed introduction to emergency first aid, run over a morning or afternoon, or 2 evenings. Receives certificate of attendance from I. Covers, managing an incident (ABC), making phone call, recovery position, CPR and choking

OPTION TWO: 6 Contact hour non assessed course, as option one, but with information and practice for bleeding, shock, and sudden illness,, run over one day, two half days or three evenings. Receives certificate of attendance from ITC

OPTION THREE: 16 hour assessed course for certificate of competence in Emergency First Aid and Incident Management. Run over 2 days ( do not have to be togther) or 4 half days or 8 evenings. Students who are unable to meet the time commitment will not be able to complete the course and achieve the certificate of competence. Covers everyting in options one and tow but to assessment standard, and then continues with injury management, specific illness management, environmental issues (heat, cold, water)
